(Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa police have arrested a man for allegedly sexually attacking pedestrians at a jogging trail near Riverside Drive.

A police spokesman says 31-year-old Ben Edward Morrison Junior was arrested on two sexual battery complaints and one attempted first-degree rape complaint. Detective Rodney Russo says all three of the alleged attacks occurred between 7:30 a-m and 8:30 a-m last Thursday.

Authorities say they were first alerted Thursday afternoon about the attempted rape of a 68-year-old woman. Police say the attacker hid in some bushes and jumped out at the woman. She struggled, screamed, bit him and jabbed him with a key. Another man scared the attacker off.

Police were subsequently told of two more attacks that occurred the same day. The women who say they were attacked are various ages.
