TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Tulsa police arrested a woman Thursday charged with having sex with her young son and videotaping the sex acts.

Officer Lucky Lamons said Catherine A. Nicholson, 41, was arrested at a Tulsa library following an anonymous tip to CrimeStoppers. Nicholson was considered Oklahoma's most wanted suspect, Lamons said.

She was charged July 27 with two counts of sexually abusing a minor child and one count of procuring a minor's participation in an obscene video. She allegedly has been sexually abusing her son for the past four years, according to court records.

The abuse allegedly occurred from the fall of 1997, when the boy was 8 years old, through March of this year. "This case is one of the most appalling cases I have ever investigated," said Detective Liz Eagan, who works in the Tulsa Police Department's Exploitation Unit.

Eagan said she had forwarded additional information to the Tulsa County and Muskogee County district attorney's offices for review. She said other people are being investigated in the case, "and more than likely there will be more charges filed."

Nicholson's son, now 12, is staying with a family member, Eagan said.
