(Norman-AP) -- The University of Oklahoma will hold two events to give Sooner football fans a chance to interact with coaches and players.

The Sooners' Media Day is planned for August Ninth at Owen Field. Players and coaches will be available for autographs from 10 a-m to 11:30 a-m.

OU will host its annual Fan Appreciation Day August 19th. Events will begin at 12:30 p-m with coaches and players available for autographs and photos. There will be a short program that will include giveaways and announcements at 4:30 p-m. And the team will scrimmage at 5:30 p-m.

The Sooners' season opens September Second with OU hosting UTEP. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:35 p-m at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
