(Dallas-AP) -- It's a border deal signed in Dallas. Representatives of Texas and Oklahoma today signed an agreement on the definition of their common border. The border will be the vegetation line on the south bank of the Red River.
Texas Land Commissioner David Dewhurst and Oklahoma state Representative James Dunegan did the honors on the Texoma Area Boundary Agreement.
The U-S House on Monday gave its consent to the agreement between Texas and Oklahoma that settles a two-century-old effort to determine their common border. The measure still faces Senate review.
