Street improvement areas which will affect Tulsa traffic include,

*OPEN: 76TH STREET AT SOUTH SHERIDAN ROAD

SOUTH SHERIDAN ROAD BETWEEN 72ND and 76TH STREETS: Crews are flagging traffic for about three weeks during storm sewer installation. Construction is in progress to widen Sheridan Road to five lanes between 7lst and 81st Streets.

81st STREET AND SHERIDAN ROAD is being widened to four lanes in each direction, plus left and right-turn lames. Delays possible.

71ST STREET SHERIDAN ROAD TO YALE AVENUE. The two westbound inside lanes are closed to traffic between Granite and Canton avenues for one to two weeks for landscaping in the center median.

61ST STREET AND UNION AVENUE. Crews are installing storm sewer and water lines and constructing detours. This intersection still be widened to four lanes in each direction with right and left-turn lanes. Completion is estimated in five to six months.

61ST STREET, MEMORIAL DRIVE TO SIIERIDAN ROAD. Two lanes of traffic are open on 61st Street between 76th East Avenue and South Sberidan Road. All four lanes will be opened after crews finish building a retaining wall. 61st Street is being widened to five lanes (center left-turn lane) betweeen Memorial Drive and Sheridan Road.

51ST STREET SOUTH AT 77TH EAST AVENUE: Traffic has been narrowed to one lane in each direction for seven to 10 days while crews remove the trench grate, resurface the street and install storm sewer inlets.

41ST STREET OVER THE BROKEN ARROW EXPRESSWAY is closed for six to eight weeks for construction of a new bridge. Through traffic is blocked on 41st Street between Memorial Drive and Mingo Road.

21ST STREET AT THE BROKEN ARROW EXPRESSWAY: Traffic has been narrowed to one lane in each direction for four to five weeks during construction of a storm sewer and relocation of water line.

EAST 15TH STREET BETWEEN PEORIA AND DENVER AVENUES. Eastbound traffic has been narrowed to one lane during sidewalk, curb and gutter repair for about two weeks.

73RD EAST AVENUE BETWEEN 11ST STREET AND 15TH STREET. Delays possible for three to four weeks during street rehabilitation.

DELAWARE AVENUE FROM SIXTH STREET TO 10TH STREET: The street is closed for one week for installation of a storm water inlet and water line.

NORTH PEORIA AVENUE BETWEEN SEMINOLE AND READING STREETS. Only one southbound lane is open. Both northbound lanes are closed at Reading Street. Motorists should follow posted detour.

FOURTH PLACE, 94TH EAST AVENUE TO 89TH EAST AVENUE is closed to through traffic for two to three weeks for pavement reconstruction.

FIRST STREET, PEORIA AVENUE TO TRENTON AVENUE: Street is closed for two to three weeks for pavement patching and overlay.

RIVERSIDE DRIVE, HOUSTON AVENUE TO SOUTHWEST BOULEVARD: Traffic has been limited to northbound only and will remain one way for about one to two months. Southbound turns are not permitted onto Riverside Drive between and including Houston Avenue and Southwest Boulevard.
