(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Two University of Oklahoma football recruits won't be eligible to play this fall. The Daily Oklahoman reports today that Jammal Brown and Jerad Estus did not meet the NCAA’s minimum academic requirements.

O-U coach Bob Stoops did not confirm the news. Stoops says the issue hasn't yet been resolved.

The newspaper reports that Brown and Estus failed to make the NCAA's minimum required score on the A-C-T. There is a chance that Brown will appeal to take an untimed test. If that doesn't happen, both can retake the test in October but would still miss the fall semester.

Brown is a defensive lineman from Lawton MacArthur and Estus is a running back from Wichita Falls (Texas) Hirschi.
