(Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa authorities have released a Muskogee woman they arrested a week ago in connection with the stabbing death of a16-year-old boy. Prosecutors have released 23-year-old Alysa Kinnell because they said they have insufficient evidence to charge her in the July 11th death of Julian Berry. Berry was found dead at the duplex he shared with his older brother. Berry was baby-sitting his brother's 9-month-old son when he was killed. The infant was unharmed. Kinnell is the ex-girlfriend of Berry's older brother.
Prosecutors say the investigation is continuing and that Kinnell hasn't been eliminated as a suspect. Authorities have said that Berry phoned his brother to tell him Kinnell was at the residence about an hour before he was found dead. Police say there was no sign of forced entry into the home and no murder weapon has been found.
