(Sapulpa-AP) -- Creek County authorities are looking for a person who they believe saw a man being run over by a neighbor in rural Sapulpa. 49-year-old Arley D. Rose was pronounced dead at a Sapulpa hospital about 6:30 p-m Saturday after being hit by a van driven by 53-year-old Roy Rogers. Rogers has been charged with second-degree manslaughter and driving while intoxicated. He is being held at the Creek County jail.

Ed Willingham is the chief investigator for the Creek County sheriff's department. Willingham says Rogers was leaving Rose's home and hit Rose after arguing with a third person. Rogers was arrested about a mile from the scene. Willingham says Rogers is also being held for Logan County authorities on unrelated charges.
