(Stillwater-AP) -- Some Stillwater teen-agers say their town doesn't need another Top-40 radio station. The teen-agers are so unhappy with radio station's K-S-P-I's switch from a rock-and-roll alternative format to a Top-40 format that they've circulated a petition to protest the change.
The teens submitted the petition -- which had 683 signatures --to the station Wednesday afternoon. Frank Baker is K-S-P-I's general manager. Baker says the format change is best for the station's future although he says he respects the way the teen-agers have made their feelings known. The teen-agers are considering organizing a sit-in.
