LONDON (AP) — A London-born billionaire will shell out $2.1 million to play a round of golf with Tiger Woods.

Joe Lewis made the highest bid in an auction Tuesday that raised about $15 million for local charities in Limerick, Ireland, The Daily Mail reported Thursday. The newspaper identified Lewis as a billionaire who made his fortune on foreign exchange markets. His company ENIC owns a 25 percent share in the Glasgow Rangers, a powerhouse Scottish soccer team.

Lewis and Woods will play their round on Woods' home course, Isleworth, in Florida. The newspaper reported that Lewis owns the course.

The Daily Mail also reported that another bidder, Dermot Desmond, paid $1.5 million for a Woods-signed flag from Pebble Beach. Woods won this year's U.S. Open by a record 15 strokes at the California golf course.
