(Stillwater-AP) -- Oklahoma State football coach Bob Simmons is promising a more diverse offense and a more responsible defense this season. He's not promising more wins but he thinks recent changes to the Cowboys' program bode well for the future.
Simmons and his Cowboys will be trying to turn things around after back-to-back losing seasons.
Simmons has hired several new coordinators to help guide the team this year. He brought in Del Miller to revamp the offense and has talked about the need for more offensive diversity.
He still believes a strong running game is important to the success of any program. But he says that having the ability to diversify will give the Cowboys a better opportunity to put points on the board.
