(Wagoner-AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is looking for a motorist who struck and killed a Wagoner man. A passerby found Edward D. Bowman on a Wagoner County road early Sunday. Bowman, who was 35, was found alongside a roadway about two miles east of US 69. Greg Giles is a lieutenant with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Giles says Bowman was last seen walking west on Whitehorn Cove Road within minutes of the collision. He was wearing blue-jean shorts, a T-shirt and tennis shoes. Giles says the patrol is looking for the public's help in finding the suspect. He says anyone with information leading to the identification of the motorist or the vehicle involved should call the highway patrol.
