(Norman-AP) -- A big honor today for Oklahoma freshman pitcher Austin Mix.

Mix was named one of four starting pitchers on Baseball America's Freshman All-America team.

The Texas native finished the season with a 10-and-2 record to be Oklahoma's winningest pitcher of the season. His ten wins tied a school record for wins set by Bobby Witt in 19-84.

Earlier this month, Mix was honored with first-team All-America honors by Collegiate Baseball magazine.
