(Dallas-AP) -- A procedure relieving fluid pressure on the brain is not expected to sideline the Reverend Billy Graham.
His spokesman says Graham is improving at the Mayo Clinic after receiving treatment for Parkinson's Disease. Larry Ross, who spoke with Graham on the phone Wednesday, says the 81-year-old evangelist is "up walking and joking with his caregivers" and has a healthy appetite.
He says Graham also appreciates people's prayers and concern.
Ross says the Reverend Graham will likely remain hospitalized for several more days, but adds that doctors think Graham will be able to help lead an evangelism conference in the Netherlands next month. A Billy Graham crusade is also scheduled in Jacksonville, Florida, this coming November.
