(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Governor Keating says car tag reform willb be on the agenda of the upcoming special legislative session, but he has yet to issue a formal call to lawmakers.

Keating says language on a ballot question is misleading and he will push for a change during the upcoming session.

A Democrat-sponsored car tag fee reduction proposal is up for a statewide vote in the August 22 primary.

The ballot question, which legislative leaders proposed after Keating vetoed a similar bill, also changes how excise taxes are calculated.

Keating says the proposal is a tax cut for new car-buyers but an 80 million dollar tax increase for used-car buyers.

The governor says workers' compensation reform and a proposal to make technical changes in the state's truth-in-sentencing law to protect federal funding will also be on the agenda.
