(Weatherford-AP) -- A water balloon-tossing incident has landed Oklahoma recruit Wes Sims in the Custer County Jail for a weekend and with a one-year deferred sentence.

Sims and four of his Weatherford teammates were arrested in November after a balloon shattered the windshield of an automobile passing beneath an overpass on Interstate 40.

Sims pleaded no contest to the charge.

Along with the deferred sentence and weekend in jail, he was ordered Monday to perform 50 hours of community service, pay court costs and restitution of 800 dollars for the windshield.

Sims is a six-foot-five, 310-pound offensive lineman.
