(Tulsa-AP) -- Funds raised by the Tulsa Final Four 400 Club may or may not be available depending on the school's next choice for head basketball coach.

The nearly $2 million was pledged to raise former coach Bill Self's salary and fund other upgrades in the program.

Tulsa athletic director Judy MacLeod says there is still an interest in helping the program, but they don't know exactly how yet.

MacLeod says she's been contacted by about 75 people who want the head coaching job.

T-U assistant coach Norm Roberts has Self's support and is considered to be one of the front-runners for the job. Also thought to be front-runners are Texas-San Antonio head coach Tim Carter, Appalachian State head coach Buzz Peterson and Kentucky assistant coach Shawn Finney.
