(Washington-AP) -- Former Oklahoma State basketball Leonard Hamilton may be the next coach for the Washington Wizards of the N-B-A.

The Washington Post reports today that Hamilton, now at the University of Miami, has agreed to a four-year deal to coach the Wizards.

The Post cites an unidentified league source and says Hamilton could receive an average of $2 million a season.

Hamilton had been negotiating with Michael Jordan, the Wizards' president of basketball operations.

Jordan denied the deal was done.

The former Chicago Bulls star says he's still in the process of
finding a coach.

The 51-year-old Hamilton has never coached in the N-B-A. He left
O-S-U to take over at Miami in 1990 and turned around a struggling
program.
