(Los Angeles-AP) - A great comeback has capped the NBA's Western Conference finals, but it wasn't pulled off by the Portland Trail Blazers. The Los Angeles Lakers are in the finals for the first time in nine years after erasing a 15 point deficit over the final ten and a half minutes of an 89 to 84 victory over the Blazers. Leading 75 to 60 early in the fourth quarter it appeared Portland was going to win the series after trailing 3 games to 1. But the Blazers missed 13 straight shots to put the Lakers back in the game.
