(Poteau-AP) -- Authorities believe a body found in a heavily wooded area in Poteau is that of a man last seen May
19th.

Poteau police found the body last night behind the Wortz cookie plant.

Kym Koch, spokeswoman for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, says Johnny Wayne Goff Junior of Poteau was reported
missing on Sunday.

She says investigators believe the body is Goff's.

The state medical examiner is trying to determine the identity and the cause of death.

Koch says officers are questioning a Cameron man about Goff's disappearance.
