The Internet is a popular place to make travel plans, but with a wide variety of very good websites for reservations and information available, how does a new website make itself stand out from the crowd?
Biztravel.com thinks it has hit on an idea: pay its users back for any delays they experience.
If a flight is delayed even 30 minutes, you get $100. If your flight one one of five major airlines is delayed more than two hours or canceled, you get a full refund.
Great for consumers, but just one little problem: the Biztravel.com web site can get swamped.
When I could get through, I received an error message advising users to call the company's 800 number (which did provide immediate service when I checked).
I checked the website again, and while it was a bit slow, Biztravel.com did appear to be working again.
