WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) — Green Bay Packers star Mark Chmura was charged today with sexual assault after his 17-year-old babysitter said he had sex with her at a party after a high school prom.
Chmura was also charged with failing to prevent underage drinking.
Third-degree sexual assault carries a maximum 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine upon conviction.
Robert Gessert, the host of the party, was also charged with sexual assault. He was also cited for supplying alcohol to minors, according to the complaint signed by District Attorney Paul Bucher.
