LOS ANGELES (AP) — Ayesha Rembert, a reserve forward on the UCLA women's basketball team, was arraigned Monday on a charge of residential burglary and two related counts.

Rembert, 21, did not enter a plea, and her case was continued in Superior Court to June 6 for a pre-trial hearing, said Deputy District Attorney Wendy Segall.

Rembert was suspended from the UCLA team after being charged in January. She was arrested Jan. 19 on one count of residential burglary at a neighbor's home, theft of an ATM access card and fraudulent use of the ATM card, Segall said. A computer and jewelry were among other items taken in the burglary.

Rembert remains free on bond of $30,000. The charges carry a sentence of up to six years if she is convicted.

Rembert, who transferred to UCLA from Marquette after the 1996-97 season, played in 10 games before her suspension, averaging 1.0 points and 1.0 rebounds. She appeared in 28 games as a reserve in 1998-99, including two NCAA tournament games.

Rembert's father, Freddie Goss, played on UCLA's 1965 NCAA championship team.
