(Tulsa-AP) -- Former Tulsa Memorial standoff golfer Tag Ridings has his sights set on the P-G-A Tour.

But in the meantime, Ridings is on the road again. Ridings has played on the Hooters, Tear Drop and Montgomery Sports golf tours. And he's tried his hand at numerous Monday qualifiers for the P-G-A Tour or Buy.Com tour.

He's had to endure his share of problems -- a cyst on his tailbone caused him to miss the first five events on the Montgomery Sports Golf Tour last year.

Ridings finished fifth on that tour's money list, earning close to $42,000 dollars.

But he says he reminds himself there's bigger and better things out there to keep from getting into a grind.
