Oklahoma's Lisa Carey was named the Big 12 Conference Player of the Week today. The Topeka, Kansas junior hit eight R-B-Is for the week, seven of those coming in the Sooners' 11-to-3 victory over the Jayhawks Saturday. Carey batted .455 in four Oklahoma victories last week.

Oklahoma claimed its second consecutive Big 12 regular season title and its third in five seasons with its sweep of Kansas.
