Another Delaware County escapee surrenders

(Jay-AP) -- There's just one inmate still on the loose of nine who escaped the Delaware County jail a week ago.

Twenty-year-old Cody Willcoxson is believed to have masterminded the escape.

He's escaped from at least 15 juvenile and adult facilities.

Relatives of 41-year-old Max NoFire contacted Adair County authorities yesterday to report that he was at his mother's home southeast of Stilwell.

Undersheriff Gary Sinclair says NoFire came and got in the sheriff's car when he arrived to pick him up.

Sinclair says NoFire told authorities that the escapees split up after breaking out of the jail by overpowering a jailer.

NoFire says he and Dallas Thompson headed south together before going separate ways. Thompson surrendered Thursday.
