STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Roy York hit a grand slam in a seven-run eighth inning Thursday night and Oklahoma State ended a four-game losing streak with an 11-1 victory over Purdue.
Jimbo McAuliff added a two-run double in the eighth inning, when the Cowboys (28-18) had four hits and took advantage of three walks, a hit batsman and a wild pitch
Luke Scott's three-run homer was the big hit in a four-run third inning.
Matt Smith (6-6) gave up a home run to start the game. But he wound up striking out 12 and allowing seven hits in 8 1/3 innings.
Purdue (30-15) had won seven straight.
