(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A 39-year-old Oklahoma City woman has been sentenced to life in prison after her conviction for murdering her husband in 1996.

Cheryl Yvonne Williamson was also charged with harboring her lover, 25-year-old prison escapee Gary Southworth.

Authorities say they expect Southworth to plead guilty to the murder of Michael Williamson next week.

Prosecutors promised not to seek the death penalty against him in exchange for his testimony that Cheryl Williamson put him up to the murder.
