(Moore-AP) -- Moore police have arrested a 14-year-old in connection with an explosive device found at a school.
The student is accused of putting a device in a Central Junior High School rest room earlier this month. Officials say the device did not explode but caused smoke damage.
The boy's name has not been released. He was arrested on a complaint of first-degree arson.
Fire Marshal Jeff Lindsay says the student put the device in the restroom to -- quote -- "scare some individuals who were giving him fits."
Moore Superintendent Wayland Bonds says the student will get a due process hearing to determine if he is allowed back in school.
The device included the contents of a 12-gauge shotgun shell, paper, cotton and lighter fluid placed inside a plastic medicine bottle wrapped in black plastic tape.
It also had a fuse.
