(Tulsa-AP) -- The men's basketball program at Tulsa expects an immediate boost with the signing of a big-bodied transfer.

Coach Bill Self announced the signing today of Ermal Kuqo. Self says the six-foot-ten, 270-pound center brings skill and size to the team.

The Albanian native averaged 15 points and nine rebounds per game as a freshman at Fort Scott Community College in Kansas last season.

He also shot 58 percent from the field and 38 percent from three-point range before sitting out the final three games of the season with a knee injury.

Kuqo will have three years of eligibility at Tulsa.
