Fashion has made quite a leap with the recent collaboration of canine photographer William Wegman and several top designers.

In Mr. Wegman's latest portfolio - William Wegman: Fashion Photographs - his Weimaraners are dressed in haute couture by designers such as Issey Miyake, Todd Oldham and Helmut Lang, to name a few.

"My Weimaraners are perfect fashion models. Their elegant, slinky forms are covered in gray - and gray, everyone knows, goes with everything," says Mr. Wegman, a cutting-edge, conceptual artist since the 1970s.

Mr. Wegman uses models Fay Ray, Battina, Chundo, Crooky and Chip in his "Fashion Photographs." The book is $29.95.
