(Stillwater-AP) -- Better late than never.
Oklahoma State receiver Ethan Howell was picked 254th in the N-F-L Draft, just four from the end. And with that, he escaped getting tagged Mister Irrevelant which traditionally goes to the last player picked.
Howell says getting drafted is a lifetime dream. And he says he can sleep better now.
Howell was one of three players with Oklahoma ties to be picked Sunday, bringing the Oklahoma total to six.
Tulsa's Todd Franz was chosen 149th by the Detroit Lions, and Green Bay chose Northwestern State's Ron Moore 229th.
