(Champaign, Illinois-AP) -- There's a happy ending to the story of an Illinois man who lost his wallet at the movies in 1982.

Eighteen years later, a worker found Ron Birkey's billfold during the demolition of the Coed Cinemas in Champaign.

The money was gone but everything else was intact, including credit cards and family pictures.

The construction worker dug the wallet out of the rubble last week and managed to track Birkey down.

The recovered billfold also contains a season's pass for a golf course. Birkey says he's going to see if the course will still honor the pass.
