(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahoma Natural Gas and the state Corporation Commission reached tentative agreement on a 57 million dollar revenue reduction plan.
Corporation Commission officials say how much O-N-G customers will save as a result of the agreement isn't certain. Testimony about the joint stipulation and other aspects of the case is scheduled to resume Friday.
Under the agreement, the Oklahoma operations of Kansas Gas Service, a division of Oneok Incorporated, will be consolidated with O-N-G, also a division of Oneok.
The revenue reduction will be effective with the consolidated company's first billing cycle after May 31st.
Under the agreement, O-N-G also agreed to dismiss its appeal of a commission order that deregulated portions of the utility's operations, including natural gas gathering and storage services.
