(Oklahoma City-AP) -- With hotel rooms cramped for the Final Four tournament, the Oklahoma City Blazers had to sleep in theb anquet room of an Indianapolis hotel Saturday night.
Blazers coach Doug Sauter says it was like a scene from a junior hockey camp.
The team had two hotel reservations, but got bumped out of them both because of the N-C-Double-A Final Four basketball weekend.
So a downtown hotel got creative, providing cots and roll-away beds for the players, coaches and trainers.
Sauter says the team caught a two-hour nap before the game, and then slept four hours afterward before leaving for an early morning flight back to Oklahoma City.
Sauter says the accommodations didn't affect the team's play, but they lost to the Indianapolis Ice 5-to-3.
