(Norman-AP) -- It's been quite a year for Hunter Haas.
In ten months, he's gone from being just another member of the University of Oklahoma golf team to an amateur champion preparing for the Masters in Augusta, Georgia.
The 23-year-old Texan's victories include the Public Links Championship, the Porter Cup and the Dixie Amateur. He finished in the top four at the U-S Amateur Championship and had a 3-and-1 record for the U-S Walker Cup Team.
Haas has since put off thoughts of turning pro so that he can play in the Masters this week as an amateur. That includes a practice round with Arnold Palmer.
While some point out the possibility of a great golf career for the number one-ranked amateur, Haas says he'll worry about the future later and just enjoy the moment for now.
