TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- A Tulsa woman was arrested on 11 counts of caretaker abuse after a hidden surveillance camera reportedly taped her slapping two elderly women.

Almiethy Teresa Allison, 65, was being held in the abuse of an 82-year-old woman and a 90-year-old woman in her care.

One of the victim's daughters suspected that the caretaker was abusing her mother and aunt and set up a hidden camera, Sgt. Wayne Allen said.

The camera showed the caretaker slapping both women with her hand, slapping one woman's head with a glass of water and using a dirty rag to wipe the buttocks of the other, Allen said.

The caretaker also is accused of twisting one woman's arm until she cried out and stuffing a dirty rag into one woman's mouth, he said.

Both victims suffer from Alzheimer's disease and one also has Parkinson's disease, said Dolores Lunsford, who set up the camera in February. Allison had been caring for the women in their midtown Tulsa apartment for about seven months.

"I had seen the bruises. I wasn't shocked," Lunsford said.
