(Niagara Falls, New York-AP) -- She dialed 9-1-1, then was too scared to talk to the dispatcher.
But officials in Niagara Falls, New York, say a five-year-old's call to the emergency number was enough to get help for her aunt yesterday.
The girl (Jumilah Ruffin) called 9-1-1 and then hung up the telephone without a peep after Paulette Phillips had a seizure in the bathroom with the door locked.
Officials traced the call and sent police to Phillips' home. She was taken by ambulance to a hospital, treated and released. The little girl says she knew all she had to do was "dial those numbers."
