OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Iowa Gov. Thomas Vilsack doesn't have to ask "Where's the beef." Oklahoma Gov. Frank Keating has paid off a friendly basketball wager with 12 pounds of steaks.
The governor's made a meaty wager last month before the Oklahoma State-Iowa State game. The bet was one pound of beef or pork per point difference in scores with Keating supplying beef and Vilsack supplying pork.
Iowa State won 72-61. Keating threw in an extra pound for Iowa State's Big 12 Conference Tournament victory over Oklahoma on Sunday.
Keating said Cusack Wholesale Meats in Oklahoma City was shipping 12 16-ounce Certified Angus Beef steaks to Vilsack's home in Des Moines.
