(Santa Ana, California-AP) -- Dallas Mavericks star Dennis Rodman was charged today with misdemeanor drunken driving over his December arrest in Costa Mesa, California.

Meanwhile, his court date in Las Vegas on a cocktail waitress' claim that grabbed her breasts is nearing.

Law officers in California say Rodman had a blood-alcohol level of point-15. That's nearly twice California's legal limit. Rodman was pulled over December 22nd. His arraignment is set for April third.

On March 27th his trial is scheduled to start in Las Vegas in the federal lawsuit by Connie Wilcox. She accuses Rodman of battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress in an alleged April 1998 incident.
