(Norman-AP) -- University of Oklahoma wrestler Witt Durden has been named Big 12 Wrestler of the Week. And making Academic All-Big 12 Team was David Kjeldgaard.

Durden is a 133-pound sophomore from Dublin, Georgia. He upset Michigan State's second-ranked Pat McNamara in O-U's 31-to-5 win. Kjeldgaard is a 157-pound junior from Council Bluffs, Iowa. He won an honorable mention for the Academic All-American team last season.
