FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- Tuesday's game between Texas Christian and Oklahoma was suspended after five innings because of rain. The Sooners led the Horned Frogs 10-8 when the game was called. They scored 10 runs in the first three innings, building to a 10-2 lead.
TCU rallied for five runs in the third, including a three-run homer from Levi Groomer, and added another run in the fifth. Frogs' pitcher Stan Newton shut out Oklahoma in the final two innings. The game is scheduled to resume April 4, when TCU travels to Oklahoma.
