(Davie, Florida-AP) -- Thurman Thomas says he likes the possibility of playing for the Miami Dolphins. The Oklahoma State star says he wants to show the Bills that they let go a guy who can play two or three more years. The free-agent visited with Dolphins coach Dave Wannstedt yesterday.

Thomas plans to visit New England and Indianapolis this week. But one thing Thomas likes about Miami is that he lives in Orlando and it's close to home. Thomas is the Bills' career rushing leader with almost 12-thousand yards and has been the Dolphins' nemesis throughout his career.

Thomas says Wannstedt would expect him to challenge for the starting job. A bruised liver caused Thomas to miss 10 games last year and he rushed for just 152 yards, the lowest total of his career. Thomas said he's healthy now.
