(Worcester, Massachusetts-AP) -- A Massachusetts jury has rejected a lawyer's claim that his client was too fat to commit a
murder.

The jury convicted 450-pound Mark Mosher of first-degree murder in the 1998 shooting death of another man. Prosecutors charged the
crime was over a drug debt.

The defense had told the jury that Mosher was too fat to fit behind the steering wheel of the pickup truck that prosecutors say the killer drove to the victim's home.

During the trial Mosher demonstrated that he still couldn't fit behind the wheel.

He's been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
