(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Hacker attacks on massive Internet web sites concern Oklahoma web site hosts. They've been fielding questions from web customers about possible attacks on their sites. But web company spokesmen say small Internet sites probably don't have to worry. And they're mum on the subject of security systems on the sites.
Bob Crull is chief executive of Oklahoma City-based Catalog.com. Crull says there's some equipment that will shield you from denial-of-service attacks. And he says if a web site is a victim of a gang-up similar to the ones at Amazon and Yahoo that there's nothing you can do. Crull says several of his larger customers are spending six-figure sums to try and insure against an interruption of business.
