(Tulsa-AP) -- A Tulsa-area girl has a $10,000 scholarship to the college of her choice, thanks to her skills in a go-cart. Eight-year-old Hanna Wallace won the scholarship by winning the national "Kids Race Against Drugs" competition last weekend in Orlando. The race is sponsored by K-Mart.

Hanna climbed into a go-cart for the first time last summer when she entered a regional "Race Against Drugs" in Broken Arrow. It turns out she clocked the fastest time in the state for girls in her age group, and that led to a trip to Florida for the national race where she won again.
