(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahoma County District Attorney Bob Macy says he'll fight attempts to delay a hearing for bombing conspirator Terry Nichols over copying F-B-I files. Nichols' defense attorney Brian Hermanson told prosecutors he will ask a judge to put off a preliminary hearing for Nichols on state murder charges until after a defense aide has finished copying the files.

But in a letter yesterday, Oklahoma County District Attorney Bob Macy told the defense attorney to pick up his copy machine. Macy says prosecutors will instead provide copies by April Tenth. Many of the copies will be on CD-ROM. Macy has said he plans to seek the death penalty against Nichols. The 44-year-old Nichols is in federal prison in Florence, Colorado, serving a life prison sentence for plotting to blow up the Alfred P- Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995, killing 168 people.
