(Norman-AP) -- No one asked Oklahoma athletic director Joe Castiglione about Oklahoma being mentioned as a possible foe for Virginia Tech in a preseason game. But if they had, Castiglione says the Sooners wouldn't be interested.

A Virginia Tech spokesman mentioned Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, North Carolina and Washington as possible opponents in the Black Coaches Association football classic. But Castiglione says O-U has decided not to pursue a preseason game that would be played off the Sooner campus. Castiglione says talks have ended with the Kickoff Classic in New Jersey. And a match up between Oklahoma and Michigan had been discussed.
