OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The U.S. Supreme Court today refused, without comment, to hear the final appeal of a man who killed an Oklahoma State University student in 1990. Kelly Lamont Rogers, 31, was convicted in 1991 of raping and killing 21-year-old Karen Lauffenberger as she delivered pizzas to Rogers' girlfriend's house on Dec. 19, 1990.

Rogers stabbed Ms. Lauffenberger nine times in the chest with a knife. The state attorney general's office will now seek an execution date, spokesman Gerald Adams said.
