Tulsa's Meals on Wheels expanded it services Monday. The home-delivery meal program is now offering special meals for diabetics.

The folks at meals on wheels say about 20 percent of their clients are diabetic. In the past, those people have had to adjust to the delivered meals or simply have not been able to eat them.

So, Monday Meals on Wheels started delivering meals for the diabetics with less sugar, a diet dessert and skim milk.

The organization delivers more than 3,400 meals a week to the homebound, elderly and disabled of Tulsa.
